Pure21 is a diet and nutrition challenge that is over the course of three weeks days. This challenge focus on resting your health whether it be your everyday life or a new healthier lifestyle to lose weight. With just 21 days, you are able to get quick results and focus on what your body needs, not what it wants. It is a short, intense, and highly effective diet that will change your life. Following the three weeks, it is easy to continue your new lifestyle because you have all the tools you need.
In the Pure21 kit, it includes everything you need for three weeks, such as a diet guide, a calendar, and a schedule for your diet and nutrition activities. Along with this, there are supplements like Vita Plex, Pro Whey, Digestive Nzymes, Pure Start, and Advanced Probiotic. Each week has a different focus that will help you lose weight.
The first week is focused on refreshing the body......along with the daily supplements you are supposed to take, the first week is all about vegetables, protein, and clean foods. The main goal of the week is to support your digestive tract. This is where the Digestive Nzymes come in. The enzymes are all-natural and used to help your body break down foods into nutrients and maintenance, so you can maximize their usage and absorption. During the week, you are addressed what foods you are and are not allowed to eat. For the first week, you can eat white meat/ fish, vegetables, natural fruits, and beverages like water, coffee, and tea. Along with this, each week you are given tips and ways to be successful during your diet. For example, it discusses meal preparation and portion control. When doing this, it even informs you on how to measure your food. For example, a fist is equal to one cup, a palm or handful is equal to three ounces, and a thumb is one ounce. Each week then explains which supplements you are taking, how many, and what it the supplement is. Lastly, there is an exercise plan to help you plan out your workouts as well as a sample plan of everything you should be intaking for the week. A sample grocery list is included for each week.
The second week is focused on reviving the body. The main goal of this week is to detoxify and cleanse the body. This is where Pure Start comes in. It adds fibers, psyllium husk, flaxseed oil, and vitamin c to your diet. In the second week, you should feel, more energized and less bloated. This is because your body is responding to the diet and is shedding fat. The food and supplements for week two will be the same as week one but you’ll be adding Pure Start to detoxify and cleanse your body. This week is where you will see the most change. Your metabolism will be taking a turn and you will be able to burn calories and fat more efficiently. Along with continuing the supplements and diet from week one, it is added that you should exercise even more. For example, increase the weight you use when you work out and the repetitions and increase the time and intensity of your cardio.
The third week is focused on balancing your body. At this point, you will not be using Pure Start anymore and will be using Advanced Probiotic instead. Advanced Probiotic is used to nourish your digestive tract. Now, you are able to add in clean, starchy carbohydrates, and other proteins to your diet. Clean and starchy carbohydrates include things like quinoa, whole oats, brown rice, sweet potato/yam, red skin potatoes, and beans. Along with this, you are able to add red meat. During the final week, you are still to maintain exercise, supplements, and food.
After these three weeks, your body has detoxified and cleansed itself and replenishing it with nutrients and healthy probiotics. You have become a better you that is fitter, slimmer, and healthier. With this diet, in just three short weeks you’ll be losing weight in no time!
In addition to outlining basic recommendations and their scientific reasoning, the position stand also clarifies these new points:
• Pedometers, step-counting devices used to measure physical activity, are not an accurate measure of exercise quality and should not be used as the sole measure of physical activity.
• Though exercise protects against heart disease, it is still possible for active adults to develop heart problems. All adults must be able to recognize the warning signs of heart disease, and all health care providers should ask patients about these symptoms.
• Sedentary behavior – sitting for long periods of time – is distinct from physical activity and has been shown to be a health risk in itself. Meeting the guidelines for physical activity does not make up for a sedentary lifestyle.
